No, we were not expecting to be expecting, but SURPRISE! We are pregnant!
After a week of all the likely symptoms and a healthy dose of denial, I finally succumbed to taking a pregnancy test this morning. As unexpected, the result was a big fat plus sign denoting a Big Fat Positive pregnancy test. I was in shock; Eric smiled and hugged me. The moment was surreal.
While the announcement of our pregnancy will be held off until our first prenatal appointment, I do not want to forget this day and have always planned to start a blog to share about our baby brewing experience. So here I am, blogging away with a teeny, tiny baby nesting in my belly.
Once we go public with our new addition, I plan to post frequently with weekly updates, milestones, and other interesting or rant-worthy baby news I feel like sharing. Until then, wish me luck with barfing!
